Meet Janet
Janet is an author and nature enthusiast who believes the world is full of wonder—if you just know where to look.
At 80 years young, she has spent a lifetime observing the beauty of the outdoors and sharing stories that spark curiosity in children of all ages.
When she isn't writing about her friend Kip the Frog or researching the "superpowers" of neighborhood birds, Janet stays busy with her big, wonderful family, including three children, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Janet enjoys the smooth sounds of jazz, solving wooden jigsaw puzzles, and making balloon animals for children. From her home in the United States, she continues to keep a watchful eye on her backyard neighbors—waiting for the next bright flash of red or blue to inspire her next story.
